New La Paz is a pretty, unknown and very cheap resort

Down a dusty gravel road you reach this beautiful entrance..

New La Paz is a popular and relaxing resort which is located right out to a 4km long and beautiful stretch of coastline called Mae Nam.

New La Paz has a very large and varied menu and you can eat really well and inexpensively at the resort. There are a large number of very friendly and helpful staff, the only thing to note is that the food didn’t always come for everyone at the same time. In fact, the food arrived at different times and some of the orders were lost along the way! But it did eventually arrive and was good, and amazingly cheap. The restaurant has a view over the sea. .

There is a good sized pool at the resort with a little area for small children. Our two older boys learnt to swim in a few days at New La Paz.

Den billigste bungalow på New La Paz

Vi havde valgt de billigste bungalows på stedet, som blot havde en fan. De var temmelig snavsede, så vi vil nok anbefale, at man lige giver lidt mere og får et hus med aircondition og en smule rengøring, medmindre man altså er helt vild med muselort og tilstoppede rør.
