There are Good Reasons for staying at different resorts

If you don’t choose a charter holiday with a fixed resort or hotel you don’t need to stay at the same place for the entire duration of your holiday.

You can easily get bored if you just hang out at the pool all the time…and why bother to travel if that’s all you’re going to do? It is however a good idea to book the first place to stay from home, so you can relax for the first couple of days of your holiday.

We chose to stay at 4 different resorts on our holiday. The first and last were booked before we left home, and the other two were chosen after getting some good advice when we arrived.

There are no end of resorts to choose from on Koh Samui – even in high season it’s not difficult to find a place to stay – as long as you don’t mind not staying at the most expensive and luxurious resorts (the ones with big, commercial websites).

Furthermore, remember that it’s easy and cheap to get around the island – the island itself is only 20 x 40 km.
